After-School Care Registration Now Open:
After-School Care Registration is now open for the 2019-20 school year! The Recreation Department picks up from Madeira Beach Fundamental and Orange Grove Elementary.
Fall Youth Soccer Registration Now Open:
Madeira Beach Youth Soccer offers children ages 3-15, the opportunity to participate in a competitive and fun soccer league. Each season consist of 8 regular season games and playoffs.
Madeira Beach Youth Baseball, Softball & T-Ball Registration Now Open:
Registration is now open for the 2019 Fall Ball Season!
Friday, August 2- Dog Park Grand Re-Opening
The Dog Park is back open! Join us for the grand re-opening on August 2nd at the City Hall Dog Park located at 300 Municipal Dr. from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. Make sure to be there for the ribbon cutting at 5:15pm and stay for the food trucks, a few vendors, and a KEEL Vodka Pop Up bar. See you there!!
Saturday, August 3 – Trash Pirates Beach Clean-Up
Please join the City of Madeira Beach to help clean up our beach from 8:00am – 11:00am. The event will take place at Archibald Beach Park, and the city will provide bags, gloves, sunscreen, water, and parking passes. For more information, visit the Facebook event page.
Sunday, August 4- Summer Yoga Party on the Patio
Come celebrate Madeira Beach Yoga's 3-year anniversary with yoga, food & friends. Join us on the Yoga Patio for a free, all levels, one-hour yoga class that will be team taught by your favorite instructors. Each instructor will teach a portion of class for a crazy fun experience. Yoga will be followed by light brunch snacks & beverages. We have partnered with KEEL vodka who will be bringing a pop-up bar and providing signature cocktails!!!! Pre-registration required for yoga. Can’t join us for yoga? Please come for the after-party at 10am.
Friday, August 9- Friday Fusion/Studio
Select Fridays each month we will fuse our breathe with our moves through a variety of fun classes including wall, flow and restorative. Infuse your weekend with yoga joy and join us for this all levels class available to everyone. Fridays in the studio are fun. More information here...
Friday, August 9 – Madeira Beach Sunset Series 5K Race #3
Madeira Beach is known for incredible sunsets. Each Friday evening of the Madeira Beach 5K Sunset Series, runners will take to the sand and enjoy the famous, breath-taking views. Sandy beaches/Rita's Italian Ice/ Craft Beer/Post-race party and sunsets. All races are on the beach, yes you will run in the sand. For more information, visit the event website. Friday, August 9 – Free Movie on the Beach: Ferris Bueller’s Day Off
Join us on the beach at Archibald Park for a free screening of Ferris Bueller’s Day Off! The event begins at 8:00pm, and the movie will be shown after sunset at Archibald Beach.
Saturday, August 10 – Fish Kids
One last celebration before the kids go back to school! Join us for Fish Kids at the Madeira Beach Recreation Center, 200 Rex Pl on August 10th from 8:00am to 10:00am. There will be many activities for kids to take part in, a huge raffle, vendors, and demonstrations throughout the tournament. See you there!
Friday, August 16- Yoga Nidra Guided Meditation
Yoga Nidra, meaning yogic sleep, is a guided meditation that takes you into a relaxed state similar to when falling asleep. There is no yoga or meditation experience necessary. More information here...
Friday, August 23- Yoga on the Lawn
Join us for this all levels yoga practice on the beautiful, lush lawn off the Yoga Patio overlooking the Bay. We will stretch and move our way through balance, strength and relaxation. More information here...
Wednesday, August 28 – Madeira Beach Fire Department Public CPR Training Class
Join the Madeira Beach Fire Department for the monthly public CPR Training Class. The class will take place in the City Centre Room at 300 Municipal Drive, from 8:00am – 12:00pm. All students must pre-register. Please contact Madeira Beach Fire Department at (727) 391-3400 to register. Training is free for residents of Madeira Beach and $25 for non-residents.
