Special Events Application
The City of Madeira Beach Special Events Application shall be used in any organized meeting, activity, gavthering or group of 75 or more persons, which involves city financial or in-kind contributions or requires city approvals and which is intended to or does draw public attention and has the potential to inhibit the normal flow or regulation of pedestrian or vehicular traffic upon any public facility, street, sidewalk, swale, alley, or park.
The term shall include, but not be limited to, festivals, carnivals, circuses, tournaments, concerts, parades, athletic events, fairs, rallies, firework displays and similar gatherings regardless of whether a charge or donation is required for admission. This definition shall specifically exclude any event conducted or sponsored solely by the city or for the primary purpose of First Amendment speech or assembly.(Ord. No. 1103, § 2, 2-13-07)
Beach Wedding Permit Application
Beach wedding permits are required for a ceremony or gathering of more than 25 people. A permit is also required in cases that have structures larger than a 10’ x 10’ tent.
Depending on the size and scope of your event, you may not need a Special Event Permit. If it is a small ceremony of less than 25 people, with no amplified sound or structures (gazebos, tents, etc.), then you are more than welcomed to use our beach for your ceremony. Chairs are allowed on the beach. We do request that any setup be done immediately before the ceremony, and chairs and decorations to be taken off the beach immediately after the ceremony. Please be aware that roping off of an area, glass and open flames are prohibited on the public beach. No rice, confetti or bird seed may be used.

Madeira Way Market Vendor Application
Madeira Way Market is now taking applications for Vendors for the Spring Market season. Vendor spots are $25 and will be a
10 x 10 space. Vendors are required to bring in their own table, tent, and other equipment needed. Please fill out this attached application and send it back to MadeiraWayMarket@gmail.com.
