
Fitness Classes & Programs
The Madeira Beach Recreation Center offers an array of fitness classes to fit your level of interest and activity. Classes are offered Monday - Friday and take place in one of many locations throughout the complex. Indoor and outdoor classes are available year round. Click here to view the Fitness Class Schedule.
Throughout the year, Madeira Beach plays host to numerous fitness competitions and endurance events. Whether you are a triathlete, 5k runner, or paddleboarder, there is bound to be an event hosted near or on the beach that fits your fitness level and interest.
Madeira Beach Yoga’s instructors are ready to show you how fun and easy yoga can be. Whether you are new to yoga or are an experienced yogi, we will help you feel successful in class. We offer three unique settings to indulge in your practice. Experience one, or explore them all, in the studio, on the patio or on the white sandy beach of Archibald Park. We have two outdoor tennis courts on site at the Municipal Complex that have pickleball lines. We offer complimentary rackets and balls that can be borrowed from the Recreation Center during normal office hours of 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. We have two meet up days Tuesday and Friday mornings at 8:00 a.m. There are no fees associated with playing. Coach teaches the game of tennis to all ages in three primary ways: individual instruction, in group clinic setting, and through participation in match competitions. Coach has found that using a combination of all three methods is an effective way for any player to learn the skills, rules, and etiquette required to play the game. Click here for more information.

Zumba fitness is a Latin based aerobic program incorporated with choreographed dance moves to help you get fit. It is designed around international music & rhythm. It consists if easy to follow dance steps. Great for cardiovascular, muscular conditioning, flexibility and balance.

Active older adults who are looking for a modified Zumba class that recreates the original moves you love at a lower-intensity.
