Join us in Madeira Beach all month long at any one of the numerous events or activities going on in our beautiful beach town! Check back daily as events are added throughout the month.

Thursday, May 2 through Saturday, May 4 – Spring King of the Beach

Join us for Spring King of the Beach! This event is a 3-day waterfront festival all about fishing, boating and eating. There are over 50 marine and art related vendors onsite including a full boat show display. The tournament has over $225,000 in cash prizes and is the largest Kingfish tournament in the country. Saturday, May 4 – Beach Clean-Up

Please join the City of Madeira Beach to help clean up our beach from 8:00am – 11:00am. The event will take place at Archibald Beach Park, and the city will provide bags, gloves, sunscreen, water, and parking passes.

Monday, May 6 – Madeira Beach Social Club Monthly Meeting

The Madeira Beach Social Club will be holding their Cinco de Mayo themed monthly meeting on Monday, May 6. The meeting will be held in the City Centre Room at City Hall at 1:00pm. For more information regarding the Madeira Beach Social Club, please visit their website.

Wednesday, May 8 – Madeira Beach Social Club Bus Trip: Tampa Bay Rays GameJoin the Madeira Beach Social Club for a bus trip to the Tampa Bay Rays Game. The bus will leave from the Madeira Beach City Centre by 12:00pm and return by 5:00pm. The cost of the trip for current MBSC Members is $20. If you are not a current member of the Social Club, the fee for Madeira Beach Residents is $22, and $24 for Non-Residents. This price includes transportation and admission. Friday, May 10 – Clover’s Movie Night: Jumanji

Join Madeira Beach Recreation and the Madeira Beach Fire Department for Clover the firehouse dog’s movie on the lawn! The event is free and will take place on the lawn at the Madeira Beach Fire Department. Family Fun will begin at 7:00pm and the movie will be shown at sundown. Friday, May 10 – Parents’ Night Out

Join us for our monthly Parents' Night Out! Drop off your child at the Recreation Center from 6:00pm – 10:00pm and we will keep them entertained with games, movies, and activities while you head out for the evening! Our fully licensed staff will be onsite all evening long to supervise the children while they are hanging out! This event is for children ages 5 – 14. Sunday, May 12 – Yoga & Mimosas on the Beach

Join Madeira Beach Yoga on the beach at Archibald Park for an all levels Beach Flow yoga class followed by a complimentary Mimosa, Bloody Mary, or non-alcoholic beverage of your choice. Class will begin at 9:00am. For more information and registration, please visit their website.

Wednesday, May 15 – Madeira Beach Social Club Lunch Bunch: Osaka

Join the Madeira Beach Social Club for the monthly Lunch Bunch. For the month of May, MBSC will be going to Osaka in Seminole. Please pre-register and meet at the restaurant at 11:30am.

Thursday, May 16 – Madeira Beach Social Club Bus Trip: Imagine Museum

Join the Madeira Beach Social Club for a bus trip to Imagine Museum (St. Petersburg). The bus will leave from the Madeira Beach City Centre by 9:30am and return by 12:30pm. The cost of the trip for current MBSC Members is $17. If you are not a current member of the Social Club, the fee for Madeira Beach Residents is $19, and $21 for Non-Residents. Friday, May 24 –Movie On The Beach: Grease

Join Madeira Beach Recreation for a free showing of Grease. The movie will be shown after sunset at Archibald Beach. This is the first movie on the beach for the 2019 Madeira Beach Summer Movie Series. For more information, visit the Facebook Event Page.

Monday, May 27 – Memorial Day

The City Offices of Madeira Beach will be closed on Monday, May 27 for Memorial Day. This includes all city offices and the Recreation Center. Please have a safe and enjoyable holiday.

Tuesday, May 28 – Last Day of After School Care

The last day of After School Care for the 2018-2019 school year, will take place on Tuesday, May 28. Remember to register your child(ren) for summer camp!
