Join us in Madeira Beach all month long at any one of the numerous events or activities going on in our beautiful beach town! Check back daily as events are added throughout the month.

Tuesday, January 1 – New Year’s Day

The City of Madeira Beach will be closed on Tuesday, January 1 for New Year’s Day. This includes all city offices and the Recreation Center. Please have a safe and enjoyable holiday.

Wednesday through Friday, January 2-4 – Winter Break Camp

Our second week of Winter Break Camp at the Recreation Center for Kindergarten through 8th Grade will take place on January 2-4. The price per day is $15 for Madeira Beach Residents / $20 for Non-Residents. For questions regarding camp or to register, please call the Rec. Center at 727-392-0665.

Saturday, January 5 – Beach Clean-Up

Please join the City of Madeira Beach to help clean up our beach from 8:00am – 11:00am. The event will take place at Archibald Beach Park, and the city will provide bags, gloves, sunscreen, water, and parking passes. For more information, please visit the Facebook event page.

Saturday and Sunday, January 5 – 6 – NSA Softball Tournament

The National Softball Association Tournament will be taking place at the Madeira Beach Recreation fields. Please be advised of increased traffic and limited parking throughout the duration of the event.

Sunday, January 6 – Madeira Way Market

Join us for the monthly Madeira Way Market! Locally-made arts, crafts, gifts and produce. This event features vendors as well as the businesses located on Madeira Way. The market will take place from 10:00am – 3:00pm.

Monday, January 7 – School Day Out at the Rec. Center

School is out for the day! The Recreation Center will be open all day for School Day Out. The fee for school days out is $15 for Madeira Beach Residents and $20 for Non-Residents. Monday, January 7 – Madeira Beach Social Club Monthly Meeting

The Madeira Beach Social Club will be holding their monthly meeting on Monday, January 7. The meeting will be held in the City Centre Room at City Hall at 1:00pm. For more information regarding the Madeira Beach Social Club, please visit their website.

Friday, January 11 – Parents’ Night Out

Join us for our monthly Parents' Night Out! Drop off your child at the Recreation Center and we will keep them entertained with games, movies, and activities while you head out for the evening! Our fully licensed staff will be onsite all evening long to supervise the children while they are hanging out!

Fee (Resident/Non-Resident): $15.00/$20.00

Time: 6:00pm – 10:00pm

Ages: 5-14

Sunday, January 13 – Yoga & Mimosas on the beach

Join Madeira Beach Yoga on the beach at Archibald Park for an all levels Beach Flow yoga class followed by a complimentary Mimosa, Bloody Mary, or non-alcoholic beverage of your choice. Class will begin at 9:00am.

Wednesday, January 16 – Madeira Beach Social Club Lunch Bunch: Lulu’s Oyster Bar

Join the Madeira Beach Social Club for the monthly Lunch Bunch. For the month of January, MBSC will be going to Lulu’s Oyster Bar in Indian Rocks Beach. Please pre-register and meet at the restaurant at 11:30am.

Friday, January 18 – Madeira Beach Social Club Bus Trip: Tarpon Springs Sponge Docks

Join the Madeira Beach Social Club for a bus trip to the Tarpon Springs Sponge Docks. The bus will leave from the Madeira Beach City Centre by 10:30am, and will return by 3:30pm. The cost of the trip for current MBSC Members is $10. If you are not a current member of the Social Club, the fee for Madeira Beach Residents is $12, and $14 for Non-Residents. Monday, January 21 – Martin Luther King Day

The City of Madeira Beach will be closed on Monday, January 21 for Martin Luther King Day. This includes all city offices and the Recreation Center. Please have an enjoyable holiday.

Friday, January 25 – Madeira Beach Social Club Bus Trip: Tampa Boat Trip

Join the Madeira Beach Social Club for a bus trip to the Tampa for the Cross Bay Ferry, Sparkman Wharf, and American Victory Ship. The bus will leave from the Madeira Beach City Centre by 8:45am, and will return by 4:45pm. The cost of the trip for current MBSC Members is $22. If you are not a current member of the Social Club, the fee for Madeira Beach Residents is $24, and $26 for Non-Residents.
