Join us in Madeira Beach all month long at any one of the numerous events or activities going on in our beautiful beach town! Check back daily as events are added throughout the month.

Monday, October 1 – Madeira Beach Social Club Monthly Meeting

The Madeira Beach Social Club will be holding the October monthly meeting on Monday, October 1. The meeting will be held in the City Centre Room at City Hall at 1:00pm. For more information regarding the Madeira Beach Social Club, please visit their website.

Wednesday, October 3 – Painter’s Choice Custom Pint Glass Painting Class

Come enjoy an evening of fun and creativity. Paint a pint glass in a design of your choice. There are 9 designs to choose from! You don't need any experience; the instruction is provided for every step. Bring a beverage of your choice and a snack, if you'd like. Have fun and meet new people, relax and be creative.

Pre-Registration for this class is required. The fee for this class is $20 for Madeira Beach Residents and $22 for Non-Residents. You can pre-register online or by calling the Recreation Center at (727)392-0665.

Friday, October 5 – Madeira Beach Yoga Friday Fusion Class

Come join Madeira Beach Yoga for Friday Fusion Class at 6:00pm. Select Fridays each month we will fuse our breathe with our moves through a variety of fun classes including wall, flow and restorative. Infuse your weekend with yoga joy and join us for this all levels class available to everyone. Fridays in the studio are fun. Sunday, October 7 – Beginner Paddleboard Yoga

Classes will be held at 11:00am and 1:00pm

Join Madeira Beach Yoga to cool off and have some fun on the water for beginners Stand Up Paddleboard (SUP) Yoga on Boca Ciega Bay. No paddleboard or yoga experience necessary, just the ability to swim and a desire to have fun.

The class will be 90 minutes and will be offered at 11:00am and at 1:00pm. Only five spaces are available for this very special event and pre-registration is required.

Friday, October 12 – Parents’ Night Out

Join us for our monthly Parents' Night Out! Drop off your child at the Recreation Center and we will keep them entertained with games, movies, and activities while you head out for the evening! Our fully licensed staff will be onsite all evening long to supervise the children while they are hanging out!

Fee (Resident/Non-Resident): $15.00/$20.00

Time: 6:00pm – 11:00pm

Ages: 5-14

Saturday and Sunday, October 13 – 14 – NSA Softball Tournament

The National Softball Association Tournament will be taking place at the Madeira Beach Recreation fields. Please be advised of increased traffic and limited parking throughout the duration of the event.

Sunday, October 14 – Yoga & Mimosas on the beach

Join Madeira Beach Yoga on the beach at Archibald Park for an all levels Beach Flow yoga class followed by a complimentary Mimosa, Bloody Mary, or non-alcoholic beverage of your choice. Please take note that the new time for this event is at 8:30am.

Monday, October 15 – School Day Out at the Rec. Center

School is out for the day! The Recreation Center will be open all day for School Day Out. The fee for school days out is $15 for Madeira Beach Residents and $20 for Non-Residents. Wednesday, October 17 – Madeira Beach Social Club Lunch Bunch- Mangos

Join the Madeira Beach Social Club for the monthly Lunch Bunch. For the month of October, MBSC will be going to Mangos in North Redington Beach. Please pre-register and meet at the restaurant at 11:30am.

Wednesay, October 17 – Creative Halloween Painting and Craft Class

Join us for our Halloween Family Painting Party! Relax, have fun, and unleash your inner creativity! Paint a creative pumpkin while your kids decorate a treat pail! No experience is needed, full instruction is provided. Just bring yourself (and your children, if they would like to participate in the child craft), beverage of your choice and a snack or appetizer. Have fun, let your hair down and meet new friends!

Pre-Registration for this class is required. The fee for this class for adults is $20 for Madeira Beach Residents and $22 for Non-Residents. The fee for the treat pails craft for children is $5 for Madeira Beach Residents and $7 for Non-Residents. You can pre-register online or by calling the Recreation Center at (727)392-0665.

Saturday, October 20 – Madeira Beach Social Club Bus Trip: Hunsader Farms Pumpkin Festival

Join the Madeira Beach Social Club for a day trip to the Hunsader Farms Pumpkin Festival in Bradenton. The bus will leave from the Madeira Beach City Centre by 9:00am, and will return by 3:00pm. The cost of the trip for current MBSC Members is $18. If you are not a current member of the Social Club, the fee for Madeira Beach Residents is $20, and $22 for Non-Residents. Saturday and Sunday, October 20 – 21 – NSA Softball Tournament

Thursday through Sunday, October 25 – 28 – John’s Pass Seafood Festival

The John’s Pass Seafood Festival has always been a celebrated event. For 37 years, the community has come together, utilizing hundreds of local volunteers in support of the vision. John’s Pass Seafood Festival is currently the second largest Seafood Festival on the East Coast.

As Pinellas County’s premier seafood festival, the John’s Pass Seafood Festival offers a number of unique attributes that benefit Madeira Beach and all of Pinellas County. The Festival promotes the positive social and economic impact of the seafood industry in Pinellas County. It helps educate the public about seafood and its importance to the area’s economy. The Festival provides substantial publicity to the wide variety of seafood indigenous to Florida and the Gulf of Mexico. The festival further boosts tourism and recreation within John’s Pass Village & Boardwalk, Madeira Beach, and Pinellas County during the non-summer months. In sum, the Festival gives visitors and the residents of Pinellas County a reason to visit Madeira Beach to have fun and enjoy the bounty of seafood that inhabits our coastal waters.

Wednesday, October 31 – Madeira Beach Fire Department Public CPR Training and Certification Class

Come join the Madeira Beach Fire Department for the monthly public CPR Training Class. The class will take place in the City Centre Room at 300 Municipal Drive, from 8:30am – 12:00pm. All students must pre-register. Please contact Madeira Beach Fire Department at (727) 391-3400 to register. Training is free for residents of Madeira Beach and $25 for non-residents.
