We are super excited to announce our Winter Events!
November 3rd-5th - Fall King of the Beach: This free, fun filled event is perfect for all ages. Join us on the Madeira Beach Recreation fields for music, food, and fireworks!
November 10th - Fall Tree Painting: Join local artist Jessica Shipley for an evening of painting with a view! We will be painting a beautiful autumn tree fitting for the cooler weather. Bring your favorite beverage and enjoy with a friend! $30 per person. Advanced registration required.
November 12th - Veteran's Day Boat Parade: The City Centre will be offering a family friendly viewing. For more information on the full list of events, visit their website.
November 18th - Movie Night: The showing of E.T. Extra Terrestrial will take place on Archibald Beach Park. PG Parental Guidance Suggested. Sponsored by The Old Snack Shack, Madeira Beach. Standard parking rates and Beach rules apply.
November 26th - Small Business Saturday (John's Pass): Small Business Saturday is an American shopping holiday held on the Saturday after US Thanksgiving during one of the busiest shopping periods of the year. Support Local business and check out what John's Pass businesses have to offer.
December 3rd - Jingle Bell Fishing Tournament & Tree Lighting: 3rd Annual Jingle Bell for Children of all ages. Please see anglerarmory.com for registration and details. Benefiting A Kind Mouse and Santa's Angel's. Christmas Tree Lighting and Santa's arrival just after dark. Music provided John Hopkins Middle School.
December 10th - 50th Annual Holiday Boat Parade: Lighted and holiday decorated boats will light up the waterways. The parade will kick off from John's Pass Village on Madeira Beach immediately following the Christmas Tree lighting celebration at 6 p.m., and it will end at the Madeira Beach Recreation Center (ROC Park).
December 11th - Holiday Half Marathon: Starting in Madeira Beach, heading north on Gulf Boulevard through exclusive residential and commercial communities to Indian Shores, before heading inland to Seminole, north along the smoothly paved Pinellas Trail into shaded and scenic Taylor Park, to the lakefront finish line, the perfect place to relax, recover, listen to live music, eat our homemade hot food, and enjoy some ice-cold beverages.
December 15th - Ugly Sweater Decorating: Get prepared for the Pub Crawl at the Free Ugly Sweater Making Party at Mad Beach Brewing on December 15th at 6:30PM. You bring a sweater and the Mad Beach Rec Department will provide all the materials to snaz it up for the holiday season!
December 16th - Holiday Movie Night: Get ready for a special double feature! Starting at 6pm, Madeira Beach Recreation will be showing A Christmas Story and then following with A Christmas Vacation. Santa will be on site taking photos for a toy donation to the Red Sled Project. Brought to you by Seminole Lake Rotary Club. More details to come.
December 17th - Ugly Sweater Pub Crawl: Join us for the second annual Mad Beach Ugly Sweater Pub Crawl in Johns Pass Village & Boardwalk. Participants are encourage to donate a toy, in lieu of $10 admission, as all toys donated will help support Seminole Lake Rotary Club's Red Sled Initiative dedicated to enriching the lives of children in the Pinellas County foster care system. Information on the bars and specials to be announced soon.
