This week, the City of Madeira Beach kicks off Citizen Appreciation Month. All month long, their will be exciting activities organized through various partnerships throughout the city as well as numerous special offers to Madeira Beach Residents by the local participating businesses. All in all, August looks to be a great month to get out and enjoy the amazing opportunities throughout Madeira Beach.

Monday, Aug. 8th

Madeira Monday at Smugglers Cove - BOGO Golf for all Madeira Beach Residents.

Tuesday, Aug. 9th

Book Lovers Day 10-8PM - Gulf Beaches Library

Gulf Beaches Public Library Presents Lit & Art Lovers Coloring Book Event. Drop in any time on Tuesday, pick out a coloring page, settle down with some refreshments, unplug and feel that stress flow away with the colors. As always free loans of books, DVDs, etc.

Wednesday, Aug. 10th

First Day of School - Recreation Center closed for Summer to Fall transition.

Thursday, Aug. 11th

Recreation Center Open House - 200 Rex Place
